B.Tech admission policy and procedure shall be decided from time to time by the guidelines issued by the Government of Kerala and  AICTE.

Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, along with one of the following: Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Technical Vocational/Computer Science/Information Technology/Informatics Practices/Agriculture/Engineering Graphics/Business Studies. Obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to the reserved category) in the above subjects taken together. OR Passed the Diploma (in Engineering and Technology) examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to the reserved category), subject to vacancies in the First Year, if vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted.

Candidates who have passed Higher Secondary Examination, Kerala, or Examinations recognized as equivalent thereto, with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and Chemistry as one of the optional subjects with at least 45% marks put together in the above subjects are eligible for Govt allotments and the marks in the qualifying examination subject to the relaxations allowed for backward classes and other communities as specified from time to time.
