• Candidates should clear the Kerala state entrance examination(KEAM) / Joint Entrance Examination (JEE).

KEAM-qualified candidates getting allotment to the College of Engineering Munnar through KEAM counseling may report on scheduled dates with the required documents and fee for getting admission under the merit low and merit full fee categories.

Applicants should pass the Higher Secondary Examination of the Board of Higher Secondary Education of Kerala or an Examination recognized equivalent thereto with at least 45% marks in Mathematics separately and 45% marks in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry/equivalent subjects in an aggregate or equivalent grade. OBC/SEBC candidates should secure a minimum of 40%, and a minimum pass % is sufficient for SC/ST.

B.Tech Lateral Entry:

• Should have cleared a 3-year Diploma course approved by the Government of Kerala.
• Should clear the Lateral Entry Test (LET) conducted by DTE, Kerala.

Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies. Obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to the reserved category) in the above subjects taken together. OR Passed Diploma (in Engineering and Technology) examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category), subject to vacancies in the First Year, in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted.
