• Based on the cut-off marks obtained in the higher secondary (10+2) examination.
• Cut off mark = 200 (100 for Mathematics and 100 for Physics + Chemistry)

B.E/ B.Tech Degree Programme - Direct Second Year Lateral Entry

• Based on the percentage marks obtained in the Diploma (10+3/12+2) examination.

Admission will be made on Merit. Preparation / short listing of candidates shall be based on score in All India Entrance Tests (CAT/MAT/XAT/any other equivalent test).

The Combined Merit List shall be based upon the following weightages:

• Marks in Class X-10%
• Marks in Class XII-10%
• Marks in Graduation- 10%
• Behavior Skill Test-10%
• Marks in Entrance Test 25%
• GD/Essay-10%
• Personal interview – 20%
• Work Experience/ Extra Curricular Activities – 5%

A pass in the HSC (Academic) or its equivalent with a minimum average percentage in the related subjects is put together as given below. For OC Candidates 45% and for All other reserved categories BC/MBC/SC/ST candidates 40%.

The Candidate should graduate/post-graduation or have passed the final examination conducted by any government-recognized course with a minimum of 50% marks.
