Admission to UG courses is through Common Entrance Test (UGCET) conducted by Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) & Under Graduate Entrance Test (UGET) conducted by the Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK).

Admission to Management Quota seats is based on merit and rank obtained in any of the Entrance Tests: UGCET, UGET, or JEE.

• Entrance Examination: KEA / COMED-K /JEE.
• For Management Quota Admissions: Students have to take any one of the Entrance Examinations.

The candidates who have passed the qualifying examination, second PUC or 10+2 Higher Secondary or equivalent examination recognized by the State / Central Government; the last two years of study shall comprise of Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, and should have passed these subjects individually along with English as a compulsory subject.

Candidates must have obtained a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate, wherein Physics and Mathematics are compulsory subjects along with Chemistry or Bio- Bio-Technology or Biology or Computer Science or Electronics as one of the optional subjects (40% marks in respect of SC, ST, and OBC candidates of Karnataka State). However, changes, if any, in the eligibility criteria by the AICTE will be adopted.

1. FOR GENERAL MERIT CANDIDATES:A candidate who has Passed in 2^nd PUC / 12^th  Std / Equivalent Examination with English as one of the Language and obtained a Minimum of 45% of Marks in aggregate in Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry / Bio Technology / Biology / Computer Science / Electronics as optional subjects in the qualifying examination is eligible to pursue in under graduate programs (B.E.).
   1. FOR SC/ST & OBC (Cat-I, 2A, 2B, 3A 3B) CATEGORY CANDIDATES: A candidate who has Passed in 2^nd PUC / 12^th  Std / Equivalent Examination with English as one of the Language and obtained a Minimum of 40% of Marks in aggregate in Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry / Bio Technology / Biology / Computer Science / Electronics as optional subjects in the qualifying examination is eligible to pursue in under graduate pogroms (B.E.).

The marks obtained by the candidate in Biotechnology/Biology/Computer Science / Electronics in the qualifying examination will be considered in the place of Chemistry in case the marks obtained in Chemistry is less for the required aggregate percentage for the pursue of determination of eligibility.
