    1. NATA 2024/ JEE Paper II is the qualifier aptitude test for admission to B.Arch. programme offered by Universities/ Institutions in the country, subject to the fulfilment of eligibility criteria as prescribed by the Council of Architecture.
    2. Qualifying in NATA/ JEE paper II does not constitute a right/ guarantee in favour of the candidate for admission to any architecture course unless the candidate has fulfilled all the prescribed requirements as specified by the respective competent authorities in compliance with the eligibility criteria laid down by the Council of Architecture.

    Candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria can apply for admission through the following modes:

    1. Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) for the government quota seats earmarked for Karnataka domicile candidates.
    2. COMED-K counselling for all India merit seats.

    Eligibility Criteria

    Bachelor's Degree from any university in any discipline with 50% aggregate marks of all the years of the degree examinations (including languages). However, in the case of candidates from Karnataka belonging to SC, ST & Category1 the aggregate percentage of marks of all the years of the qualifying examinations shall not be less than 45%.     The eligibility for admission to the 1st year of the 5-year B.Arch. Degree programme for the academic session 2024- 2025 shall be as per CoA (Minimum Standards of Architectural Education) Regulations, 2020. The eligibility in terms of Regulations, 2020 is as under:

    1. “No candidate shall be admitted to architecture course unless she /he has passed 10+2 or equivalent examinations with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with either Chemistry or Biology or technical vocational subjects or Computer Science or Information Technology or Informatics Practices or Engineering Graphics or Business Studies with 45% marks in aggregate or passed 10+3 Diploma Examination with Mathematics as compulsory subject with at least 45% marks in aggregate.” Relaxation in percentage and qualifying marks shall be in accordance with the government's relaxation policy.
    2. Additionally, the candidates must qualify for the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) conducted by the Council of Architecture (CoA) or JEE Paper II.
