TNEA (Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission ) is a state-level counseling for admission to the undergraduate B.E./ B.Tech degree courses offered by the institutions or colleges located in the limits of Tamil Nadu state. TNEA counseling forms will be issued for the students whohave  completed higher secondary every year. Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission TNEA is an authority conducting counseling for the 12th students who want to join in B.E, B.Tech, B.Arch.

The candidate should pass in HSC/12th standard with Math, Physics, and Chemistry as compulsory subjects (Min 45%, 40% for reserved category).

The candidates should be natives of Tamil Nadu state and are eligible to apply. The outsider candidates who studied their schooling in Tamil Nadu may also apply. The children of persons who have been serving in the public sector or government sector for the last five years in Tamil Nadu may also apply for TNEA.
