Admission to Undergraduate Programmes (B.E./B.Tech) is primarily based on the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) counselling conducted by the DoTE, Government of Tamil Nadu, based on the marks obtained in the Higher Secondary Examination (+2).

The minimum requirements for admission to B.E. / B.Tech. Programs are that the candidate has to pass the 12th standard board examinations with a minimum percentage as mentioned below.

For Lateral Entry admission (Direct Second Year), candidates must have passed the Diploma in Engineering / Technology conducted by the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Tamil Nadu, or an equivalent qualification.
