Students studying in Std. 12th (PUC II) in recognized colleges with valid scores in the same can apply for the Common Entrance Test (CET) of the Karnataka Govt.

Students from outside Karnataka can apply through COMED-K scores or equivalent and recognized scores.

The admission process is carried out through the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) process for Government Quota seats and by the Bharatesh Education Trust, Belagavi, for the Management Quota seats.

The Candidate passed the 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, along with one of the following subjects: Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, Technical Vocational, Computer Science, Information Technology, Informatics Practices, Agriculture, Engineering Graphics, or Business Studies. Obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to the reserved category) in the above subjects taken together. OR Passed a Diploma (in Engineering and Technology) examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to the reserved category), subject to vacancies in the First Year, in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted.

• Passed the 2nd PUC / 12th Standard examination.
• English must be one of the subjects studied.
• Minimum of 45% marks in aggregate in:
  • Physics (compulsory)
  • Mathematics (compulsory)
  • One of the following: Chemistry / Bio-Technology / Biology / Electronics / Computer Science
• Minimum aggregate is 40% for Karnataka SC/ST/OBC candidates.
