    a. For the candidate of Maharashtra State

    In addition to the educational qualification as specified, candidates from Maharashtra state, as well as outside of Maharashtra state, are required to appear for JEE, MHT-CET to be eligible for admission through the Centralized Admission Process ( CAP).

    b. For the candidate willing to take admission under the Management Quota

    Candidates from Maharashtra State or as well as outside of Maharashtra State, having educational qualifications as specified by AICTE/DTE/ Government of Maharashtra are eligible for admission under Management quota seats. They should appear for the JEE, MHT-CET conducted by the competent authority.

    c. For Diploma Candidate: (First Year)

    After admission of candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria mentioned in point a & b above, if vacancies exist after the cutoff date declared by the concerned Government Authority, the principal may admit diploma completed candidates who have passed diploma course in Engineering/technology with minimum of 45% marks for open category and 40% reserve category from Polytechnic colleges affiliated to MSBTE or AICTE approved autonomous Polytechnic in Maharashtra state.     Eligibility Criteria

    Maharashtra State Candidature Candidate:

    i. The Candidate should be an Indian National;

    ii. Passed HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or Technical or Vocational subjects and obtained at least 50 % marks (at least 45% marks, in case of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) in the above subjects taken together.

    Or

    iii. Passed Diploma in Engineering and Technology and obtained at least 50% marks (at least 45 % marks, in case of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only).

    Or

    iv. Passed B.Sc. Degree from a Recognised University as defined by UGC and obtained at least 50 % marks (at least 45 % marks, in case of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only).

     All India Candidature Candidates, Jammu and Kashmir Migrant Candidature Candidates:

    i. The Candidate should be an Indian National.

    ii. Passed HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or Technical or Vocational subjects and obtained at least 50 % marks (at least 45 % marks, in case of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) in the above subjects taken together.
