• The admissions in B. Tech., B.Tech (Lateral Entry) (UG Program), MCA, and MBA programs shall be done through the counseling conducted by Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU). However, the admission against the vacant seats will be done on a merit basis after the state-level counseling gets over. The admissions under lateral entries in B.Tech. 2nd year (against the vacant seats after counseling) will be done on the basis of the merit of the corresponding exam related to the eligibility criterion.

The student should have passed the 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subjects/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies. Obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to the reserved category) in the above subjects taken together. OR Passed a Diploma (in Engineering and Technology) examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to the reserved category), subject to vacancies in the First Year, in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted.

For First Year Admission: passed 10+2 with compulsory Subjects (Physics and Maths) and one of the optional subjects (Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational Subjects) (With/Without grace) with 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to Reserved category).

For Lateral Entry: Passed diploma/ B.Sc. with Mathematics as one of the subjects at 12th Slandered 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to Reserved category).
