     All the eligible applicants for admission into the First Year shall have to qualify in the EAMCET Examination conducted by the Government of Telangana. The candidates will be admitted strictly on the basis of merit secured at the Entrance Examination, keeping in view the rules in force regarding the reservations of seats for various categories of candidates. The candidates should satisfy local/non-local status requirements as laid down in the Telangana State Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admissions) Order 1974, as amended from time to time.

    • 70 % of the seats are allotted based on merit in the EAMCET. 

    • 30 % of the seats are earmarked for Management/NRI candidates. 

    • In addition to the above, Diploma holders are admitted in the second year of B. Tech to the extent of 20% of intake based on the merit in the ECET, under the lateral entry scheme.
