Eligibility Criteria

Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subjects/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies. Obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to the reserved category) in the above subjects taken together. OR Passed Diploma (in Engineering and Technology) examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) subject to vacancies in the First Year, in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted.

The student should have passed the 2nd PUC / 12th standard or equivalent examination with English as one of the languages
obtained 45% of marks in aggregate in Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry / Bio-Technology/ Computer Science /Electronics /Biology
In the case of candidates belonging to Karnataka Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, and other Backward Classes (Category 1, 2A, 2B, 3A, and 3B), the minimum marks for eligibility will be 40% of marks in aggregate in the optional subjects in the qualifying examination
