The students are admitted into the four-year undergraduate programs in two categories. The first category, Category-A seats constitute 70% of the total seats in the college. The Category-A seats are filled through the Convener, EAMCET, Andhra Pradesh. The second category, Category-B seats, constitutes 30% of the total available seats. The Category-B seats are filled by the management through a newspaper advertisement.

Admissions will be as per AP EAMCET entrance exam.

Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies. Obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to the reserved category) in the above subjects taken together. OR Passed Diploma (in Engineering and Technology) examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) subject to vacancies in the First Year, in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted.

• Higher Secondary Examination of (10 + 2) Curriculum (Academic Stream) prescribed by the Government of Andhra Pradesh with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.
• Any examination of any other University or authority accepted by the JNTUK as equivalent thereto.
• Diploma in Engineering / Technology awarded by the State Board of Technical Education, Andhra Pradesh or any other authority accepted by the syndicate of the University as equivalent thereto.
• The candidates who possess the Diploma in Engineering / Technology awarded by the State Board of Technical Education and Training, are eligible for admission to the third semester of the B.E. / B. Tech, Degree Programs in affiliated colleges through lateral entry system.
• The eligibility criteria such as marks, number of attempts and physical fitness and the mode of admission shall be as prescribed by the University from time to time.
