Admissions under Convenor's Quota (A-Category)---70% of intake in each branch:

• All the eligible applicants for admission into the First Year shall have to qualify in the EAMCET Examination conducted by the Government of AP. The candidates will be admitted strictly following the merit secured at the Entrance Examination, keeping in view the rules in force regarding the reservations of seats of various categories of candidates. The candidates should satisfy local/non-local status requirements as laid down in the AP Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admissions) Order 1974, as amended from time to time.

Admissions under Management Quota (B-Category)----30% of intake in each branch:

• B- Category seats are filled by the Management of the college following the guidelines stipulated by APSCHE, Guntur.

B.Tech Programmes (Three-Year Programmes for Diploma/B.Sc Holders)

• Of the sanctioned intake in a branch of engineering, 10% of seats as supernumerary seats are allotted to Diploma and B.Sc holders for admission into the II Year B.Tech directly. Admissions into II Year B.Tech through lateral entry for Diploma and B.Sc Holders are conducted by the Convener, ECET. Admissions through web counselling are based on the rank obtained by the candidates in ECET, keeping in view the rules in force regarding the reservations of seats of various categories of candidate.s There are no B-B-Category (Management Quota) Seats for lateral entry into II Year B.Tech

For all B. Tech. For branches A-Category (Convener Quota), students must have passed the 12th Standard. B-category students should also complete the 12th Standard.

A Candidate for admission to the four-year degree course in Engineering must have passed the Intermediate Examination of the Board of Intermediate Education, Government of Andhra Pradesh with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry as Major subjects or any other examination recognized by the University as equivalent thereto.
