Under Category A: 70% of the seats are filled through EAMCET counselling.
Under Category B: 30% seats are filled based on 10+2 merits in compliance with guidelines of APSCHE
Lateral entry admissions: 20% seats of sanctioned intake will be available in each course as supernumerary seats. Admissions to this three year B Tech later entry Programme will be through ECET. The maximum period to complete B. Tech. under lateral entry scheme is six consecutive academic years from the date of joining.
70% of seats are filled through the common entrance test (EAMCET) Conducted by the Government of Andhra Pradesh
30% of seats are filled Under Management Quota, Seats are filled based on a minimum of 60% marks attained in the Intermediate Examination OR based on the EAMCET rank of the Candidate.
15% seats are filled Under NRI Quota, Seats are filled based on a minimum of 60% marks attained in the Intermediate Examination OR based on the EAMCET rank of the Candidate.

Qualify in JEE/CET*/GMRCET /Aggregate with a
min. of 50% marks in 10+2
Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subjects/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies. Obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together. OR Passed Diploma (in Engineering and Technology) examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) subject to vacancies in the First Year, in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted.
