Admission Details

The Government of Haryana policy for admission is such that 75% of the total seats sanctioned will be filled by the Haryana State Technical Education Society on the basis of Inter Se Merit of JEE through “Line” off-campus basis as per the reservation policy of the Government of Haryana. The remaining 25% seats (Including 15% NRI seats) will be filled by the Institute itself.

The admissions would be based on the merit/rank in the JEE.

Eligibility Criteria

Passed 10+2 examination with Physics/ Mathematics and any one out of the following courses Chemistry/ Computer Science/ Electronics/ Information Technology/ Biology/ Informatics Practices/ Biotechnology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies Studies/Entrepreneurship. Obtained at least 45% marks (42.75% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category of Haryana Only) in the above subjects taken together.

The student has passed in the 12th Class of the 10+2 pattern of CBSE or equivalent with a minimum aggregate of 55% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, provided the candidate has passed in each subject separately. Candidate must additionally have passed English as a subject of study (core / elective/functional) in the qualifying examination.
