Eligibility Criteria

Pass in the HSC (Academic: both +1 and +2) or its equivalent with a minimum average percentage in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.

Lateral Entry - Direct II year)

Pass in 3 year Diploma examination conducted by the State Board of Technical Education of respective states in the relevant subjects with a minimum percentage of marks given below.
Pass in any recognized Bachelor’s Degree in Science of minimum 3 years duration with Mathematics as a subject.

Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies. Obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together. OR Passed the Diploma (in Engineering and Technology) examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) subject to vacancies in the First Year, in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted.
