There will be a Common Entrance Examination for selection of the candidates for admission into B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture, B.Sc.(Hons.) Horticulture, B.Sc.(Hons.) Forestry, B.F.Sc., B.V.Sc. and A.H., B. Tech.(Agril. Engg.) and B.Sc.(Hons.) Community Science courses. The candidates for admission will be selected solely on the basis of Merit (Weighted Score) which is based on his/her academic career and performance in the Entrance Examination. If two or more candidates secure the same computed score, the tie shall be resolved and their merit positions will be decided on the basis of higher marks in the Entrance Examination or +2 Science or HSC/ equivalent in that order.

The admission shall be made strictly according to the merit-based.

• Minimum Qualification: +2 Science with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate including extra optional. (for SC/ST/PWD candidates is 40%).
• Subjects in +2 Science: P.C.M. or P.C.B.*

The candidate has passed the two-year PUC Science examination conducted by the Department of Pre-University Education, Government of Karnataka, or an equivalent examination with the combination of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology with any one science subject or a pass in two years of PUC science examination of the Department of Pre-University Education, Government of Karnataka with Inter-Agriculture subject.
