Admission to the MBA program shall be based on the total score obtained by the candidate in KMAT/CMAT/CAT, Group discussion, and Interview.

Admission for an MBA at VJIM will be based on a valid score in KMAT/ C-MAT/CAT, and the weightage for getting admitted to the MBA program as per the norms of the ASC/AICTE.

1. Bachelor's degree in any subject with 50% marks in aggregate.
2. Candidates belonging to Kerala Scheduled Caste (KSC) and Kerala Scheduled Tribe (KST) communities are eligible to apply if they have a minimum pass mark in the qualifying degree.
3. SEBC candidates of Kerala State who are certified as belonging to the non-creamy layer are eligible for 5% relaxation in the minimum required marks for the qualifying degree.

Candidates seeking admission to the MBA program are required to have obtained an Undergraduate (UC) degree (under 10+2+3 pattern) in any discipline recognized by Kannur University with 50% marks in aggregate. However, candidates belonging to other backward communities are eligible for a concession of 5% marks in the qualifying examination. Those belonging to scheduled castes/scheduled tribes who have secured a pass in the degree examination are eligible to apply for admission to the course. Reservation of seats will be as per the existing university rules.

Students who are in the final year of any undergraduate program can also apply for MBA admission, provided they satisfy the eligibility conditions.
