Admission Details

The Merit Quota [90%], and Management Quota [5%] [reserved for the children of employees working in the Co-operative sector] are solely allotted by the commissioner of Entrance Exams, Kerala as per KEAM Rank. The admission to NRI [5%] quota seats are filled from the rank list. prepared by the college authority, based on the plus two marks [ Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or / Computer Science/Biotechnology/Biology].

Allotment to 95% seats of the annual intake is made by the Commissioner for the Entrance examination (CEE), Government of Kerala from the rank list of Kerala Engineering Entrance examination conducted every year by Govt. of Kerala. For Details of the Kerala Engineering Entrance Examination and allotment,
5% of seats are reserved for non-resident Indians (NRI seats). For NRI admission, separate applications are invited by IHRD, and a rank list is prepared on the basis of qualifying examination, and students are admitted from this rank list

Eligibility Criteria

The Candidates who have passed the higher secondary Examination of Board of Higher Secondary Education. Kerala or Examination recognized equivalent thereto. with 45% marks in Mathematics.Physics and Chemistry or/ Computer Science/ Biotechnology/ Biology put together are eligible to Management and NRI seats of B.Tech Courses.
SC/ST candidates need only a pass in qualifying examination for admission to B.Tech courses.
No entrance test is required for getting admission to B.Tech Course under NRI Quota.
Candidates Seeking NRI Quota should be a child /ward /Dependent of an NRI and should enclose a declaration form and employment certificate from the NRI who sponsor the applicant (form enclosed as Annexure).

The Candidates who have passed Higher Secondary Examination, Kerala, or Examinations recognized as equivalent thereto, with 50 % marks in Mathematics separately and 45 % marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry / Biotechnology / Computer Science / Biology taken together are eligible for admission.
