The admission to the B.Tech. course, excepting NRI Quota, is through a State-Level Entrance Test called “Engineering, Agriculture and Pharmacy Common Entrance Test” (APEAPCET), conducted by the Government of Andhra Pradesh. All eligible applicants have to qualify for the entrance test, EAPCET. The candidates will be admitted strictly by the merit secured in the EAPCET. The Convener-AC of APEAPCET admits the candidates based on marks secured in the Intermediate or an equivalent examination and the rank secured in APEAPCET.

Management Quota Admission Procedure:

The Management admits candidates for the Management and NRI quota based on merit. The candidates should have a first-class in the Intermediate or qualifying examination or 50% secured in optional subjects: Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry.

The Candidate should have passed the 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies. Obtained at least 45% marks (40% in the case of candidates belonging to the reserved category) in the above subjects taken together. OR Passed Diploma (in Engineering and Technology) examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to the reserved category), subject to vacancies in the First Year, if vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted.

A Candidate for admission to the four-year degree course in Engineering must have passed the Intermediate examination of the Board of Intermediate Education, Government of Andhra Pradesh, or any other examination as equivalent thereto.
