Admission is based on the list published by the Govt. Entrance Commission for the merit quota and as per the existing Govt. rules for Management quota. Candidates must qualify in KEAM 2022. The candidates should have completed the age of 17 at the date of admission. There is no upper age limit.

B.Tech: Pass in Higher Secondary Examination, Kerala or examination recognized equivalent thereto with 50% marks in Mathematics separately, and 50% marks in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology / Biotechnology / Computer Science put together. Admission is based on the list published by the Govt. Entrance Commission for the merit quota and as per the existing Govt. rules for Management quota. A relaxation of 5% marks in the qualifying examination for SEBC candidates is allowed. Candidates who have a Diploma in Engineering awarded by the Board of Technical Examinations, or an examination recognized equivalent thereto, by the State Board of Technical Education after undergoing an institutional course of at least 3 years, securing a minimum of 50% marks in the final Diploma Examination are eligible for admission to the special reservation quota (DE) as shown in Clause 5.2.9.

Lateral Entry Admission: Pass a Diploma in Engineering awarded by the Board of Technical Examination or an examination recognized equivalent thereto, by the State Board of Technical Education after undergoing an institutional course of at least 3 years, securing a minimum of 60% marks in the final diploma examination are eligible for admission to second year B.Tech.

A Candidate for admission to the four-year degree course in Engineering must have passed the Intermediate examination (10+2) of the Board of Intermediate Education with Mathematics.
