All the eligible candidates for admission into First Year shall have to qualify in the EAMCET Examination conducted by the Govt. of Telangana. The candidates will be admitted by EAMCET Convener strictly in accordance with the rank secured at the Entrance Examination and keeping the rules applicable in view, regarding the reservation of seats of various categories of candidates.

• The Category A seats shall be 70% of sanctioned intake of seats in each course which shall be filled with eligible candidates on the basis of Rank obtained at EAMCET.
• The Category B Seats shall be 30% of the total intake of seats in each course which shall be open for admission to all the eligible candidates on merit basis including candidates belonging to other States and Union Territories of India and NRIs.

A student must have passed the Intermediate Examination of the Board of Intermediate Education, Government of Telangana, with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry as optional subjects or any other examination recognized by the Government of Telangana as its equivalent.

Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies. Obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together. OR Passed Diploma (in Engineering and Technology) examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) subject to vacancies in the First Year, in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted.
