    The Selection process is carried out in two steps.

    Step I: SNAP Test Each student desirous of admission to SIIB, Pune must appear for Symbiosis National Aptitude (SNAP) Test, which is a common written test for the admission to all Symbiosis postgraduate institutes. For SNAP Test information log on to http://www.snaptest.org and register. Get your SNAP-ID. This SNAP-ID should be entered while applying to SIIB, Pune. Preserve the Admit Card of SNAP Test for further selection process at SIIB, Pune. Appearing for the SNAP Test does not automatically qualify an applicant for the next step in the selection process at SIIB, Pune.

    Step II: Selection Process at SIIB, Pune Each student desirous of admission to SIIB Pune must apply SIIB, Pune separately, using the link given at the website. Short-listed Applicants based on SNAP scores will be called for the selection process at SIIB, Pune. Shortlisted candidates are announced via a web-link on SIIB Pune’s website as per the scheduled dates. Individual regret letters will not be sent to applicants who are not called for GE-PIWAT. The entire selection process will be held at PUNE only. This process includes Group Exercise, Personal Interview & Written Ability Test (GE-PIWAT).

    Eligibility Criteria

    • Be a graduate from a UGC recognized University with minimum 50% aggregate marks (45% for reserved category).
    • Students currently in the final year of their graduation and confident of securing a minimum of 50% aggregate marks may also apply for the MBA courses. The admission committee may give more weightage to higher marks in graduation.
    • It is imperative that the candidate should have taken at least one exam out of CAT / MAT / XAT / CMAT or MH-CET. MAT exams held after in Aug/Sep 2025 to May 2026 will be considered for admission to the academic year 2026-28. We believe that true talent cannot be judged on the basis of the score granted by any entrance exam. Hence, we do not have a cut-off score below which if the candidate scores cannot apply to the program.
    • For students seeking admission in an MBA program for specialization in Finance, the preferred educational qualification is commerce. Students from other science streams are discouraged. However, for Marketing specialization in an MBA program, students from any discipline can apply.
