    • First Year
      • Applicable to Maharashtra State, All India, UT of Jammu & Kashmir / UT of Ladakh Migrant Candidates, Candidate must be an Indian citizen.
      • 10+2 (HSC) / Equivalent – PCM, Physics & Mathematics compulsory + one approved subject 45% marks (40% for Reserved/EWS/PwD – Maharashtra only) Appeared in PCM CET conducted by component authority with non-zero score.
      • Eligible for all B.Tech programmes 10+2 (HSC) / Equivalent – PCB, Physics & Chemistry compulsory + one approved subject 45% marks (40% for Reserved/EWS/PwD – Maharashtra only) Appeared in PCB CET / JEE with non-zero score. Eligible for specified B.Tech programmes (Agriculture, Biotechnology, Food, Pharma, Packaging, Printing, Fashion, Textile, Leather)
      • Note: PCB students are also eligible for admission to any B.Tech programme, irrespective of the subjects studied in Class 12, provided they qualify the relevant National-level or University-level entrance examination for that programme. The University may offer bridge courses, wherever required, to address academic gaps. Diploma / D.Voc. 3-year Diploma in Engineering & Technology – 45% marks (40% for Reserved/EWS/PwD – Maharashtra only) 3-year Diploma of Vocation (D.Voc.) in the same or allied sector Admission is subject to rules and guidelines issued by the Competent / Appropriate Authority from time to time.
    • Direct Second Year (Lateral Entry)
      • (For Maharashtra State & All India Candidature Candidates Candidate must be an Indian citizen. Eligible Qualifications, Diploma in Engineering & Technology, Passed minimum 3-year Diploma or 2-year Diploma (Lateral Entry). From AICTE / Central Govt. / State Govt. approved institution or equivalent, Minimum Marks: 45% (General Category), 40% (Reserved / EWS / PwD – Maharashtra State only).
      • B.Sc. Degree Passed B.Sc. Degree from a UGC / AIU recognised University Minimum Marks: 45% (General Category), 40% (Reserved / EWS / PwD – Maharashtra State only), Must have passed HSC or equivalent with Mathematics as a subject.
      • Diploma of Vocation (D.Voc.), Passed 3-year D.Voc. programme, In the same or allied sector.
      • Admission is subject to any other eligibility criteria and requirements prescribed from time to time by the Appropriate Authority as defined under the Act.

    • Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry /Biotechnology / Biology / Technical Vocational subject. Obtained at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidate belonging to SC/ST category) in the above subjects taken together.
    • Good Scores in any one of the following entrance exams: SIT Engineering Entrance Exam (SIT EEE) or JEE (Main) or Any State Government Engineering Entrance Examination.

    International Students (NRI / PIO/ Foreign Nationals)

    • Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry /Biotechnology / Biology / Technical Vocational subject. Obtained at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidate belonging to SC/ST category) in the above subjects taken together.
    • Do not have to appear for entrance exam (SIT EEE/ JEE-Main/ Any State Government Engineering Entrance Examination) in India

    IB / Cambridge Board (IGCSE) Students:

    Following eligibility rules will be followed for according equivalence to 10+2 school level certificate of International Baccalaureate / Cambridge board student:

    a] International Baccalaureate( IB) Board

    • The candidate must have been awarded IB Diploma or the IB Diploma Course (i.e. IB Certificate) as a qualification for entry to the professional course at the institute and is required to have passed the subjects of Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry at Higher Level (HL), with a minimum score of 24 credits. Students awarded the IB Diploma should also have completed other mandatory requirements (like CAS, TOK and the EE) towards the award of IB Diploma.
