Seat allocation for 51 State Quota seats will be done by the HPU during counseling conducted at the University campus in Shimla based on the merit list prepared after the due date for submitting an online application form for which all NEET-qualified bonafide Himachali students can compete. The remaining 09 seats of the All India Quota will also be filled by the state counseling authority i.e., HPU as per letter F.No.L.11011/02/2020-EP(1) dated 26/10/2020 from the Ministry of AYUSH, New Delhi. Owing to the COVID-19 pandemic situation, however, counseling will be done online for the academic session 2020-21.

Admission based on NEET exam.

The candidate aspiring to get admitted to BAMS during the academic session 2020-21 at Shiva Ayurvedic Medical College and Hospital should have qualified through the National Entrance cum Eligibility Test (NEET) 2020 conducted by NTA, New Delhi.

The basic requirement for eligibility to get the admission to BAMS program is qualifying for the 12th Standard with science stream or any other equivalent examination recognized by the concerned state government and education boards, provided the candidates pass the examination with 50% aggregate marks in subjects of physics, chemistry, and biology.
