• The Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada is conducting an Engineering, Agriculture, & Medical Common Entrance Test (EAMCET) for admission into the above courses under the supervision of A.P.S.C.H.E., Govt. of A.P.
• 70% of the seats are allotted by the Convener, EAMCET admissions, based on the Rank obtained in the above test. 30% of the seats are filled by the Management.

The students are admitted into the four-year undergraduate programs in two categories. The first category, Category-A seats constitute 70% of the total seats in the college. The Category-A seats are filled through Convener, EAMCET, Andhra Pradesh.  The second category, Category-B seats constitute 30% of the total available seats. The Category-B seats are filled by the management through the newspaper advertisement.

The candidate must have passed in +2 class examination or its equivalent, and also the test result of the Common Engineering Entrance Test is conducted by the Government of A.P. All the scheduled dates are followed as per the Directions of the Convener, EAMCET Admissions, Government of A.P.

Pass in 10+2/Intermediate with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with an aggregate of 60% (relaxed to 55% for SC/ST)

• Selection Process:
  1. An aggregate of 60% (relaxed to 55% for SC/ST) marks in 10+2 and
  2. A valid percentile in VVIT University Admission Test (VVITAT 2026) (OR)
  3. A valid Rank from any State Government recognized Entrance Test in Engineering. (EAPCET 2026 for AP students)
