The admission is based on conducting the OJEE entrance exam for MBA admissions (Computer-based Test) in a number of Centers in Odisha/outside Odisha in the Month of May/June every year.85% seats are reserved for OJEE rank holders, and 15% for All India Tests like AT/XAT/MAT/CMAT/ATMA. Centralized Online Admission Counseling is conducted by OJEE for allotment of seats as per the reservation Policy given in the OJEE Brochure every year.

Admission to the institute is based on the common entrance exam, O-JEE, conducted by the competent authority.

The candidate must have passed a Bachelor's Degree of a minimum 3 years duration and must have obtained at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of candidates belonging to the reserved category) in the qualifying examination.

The Candidate Passed Bachelor’s Degree examination of a minimum of three years duration from any University of Odisha or a recognized University as defined by UGC/AICTE OR Passed the Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Technology/ Architecture/Pharmacy examination of minimum four/five year’s duration in any discipline from any University of Odisha or a recognized University as defined by UGC/AICTE. The candidate should have obtained at least 50% marks (45% in the case of the candidate belonging to the SC/ST category) at the qualifying examination. There is no age limit for admission to the MBA course. A student has to appear O-JEE to take admission.
