All applicants are required to submit a complete IMER application form, with required testimonials (attested certificate, marks sheets, scorecards etc). All applicants must meet the following admission criteria.

Government Quota:

• Must appear for Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (PGCET) conducted by the Government of Karnataka.
• If the applicant has completed his/her graduation course from other than Rani Channamma University, Belagavi, he/she must produce eligibility certificate from Rani Channamma University and Migration Certificate from the University of his/her graduation.

Management Quota:

• Must appear for Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (PGCET) conducted by the Government of Karnataka or CMAT/MAT/CAT/XAT/KMAT or any other entrance test recognized by AICTE, New Delhi.
• If the applicant has completed his/her graduation course from other than Rani Channamma University, Belagavi, he/she must produce eligibility certificate from Rani Channamma University and Migration Certificate from University of his/her graduation.

Admissions are done as per the Government of Karnataka PG Common Entrance Test of Karnataka conducted by Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) for admission to MBA.

Government Quota :

 Graduation from any recognized university with at least 50% (SC/ST 45%).

Management Quota :

 Graduation from any recognized University with at least 50% (SC/ST 45%).

Should have obtained 50% of aggregate minimum marks taken together in all the subjects for all the years of the Degree examination. 45% of aggregate marks in all the subjects for all the years in the Degree examination in the case of candidates belonging to SC, ST, and Category-I. Further, only the candidates of Karnataka origin will be eligible to claim reservation).
