Should have completed 17 years of age and not exceeding 28 years on or before 31^st December of the year of admission. Passed two-year pre-university examination with physics, chemistry, Biology, and English with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks for General candidates and 40% or more aggregate marks for ST/SC and physically challenged candidates. A domicile certificate of continuous 5 years' stay in West Bengal on the date of application. Should be medically fit.

The Candidate passed with 45% marks(General) and 40% marks (SC/ST/OBC/PWD) in aggregate with a combination of Physics, Chemistry, Biology & English (PCBE) in H.S (10+2) Examination.
