    Eligibility Criteria

    The eligibility criteria are as prescribed by the competent authority. Students should refer to the information brochure published by the competent authority for detailed eligibility criteria for the current academic year.

    The broad eligibility criteria for admission are as follows:

    For State quota seats

    • The candidate must be an Indian National.
    • The Age of the candidate must be as prescribed by the competent Authority
    • The Candidate must be a Domicile of Maharashtra (with some exceptions as mentioned in the information brochure).
    • The candidate must be medically fit and must submit a certificate of medical fitness at the time of Document Verification as per proforma.
    • The candidate must have passed the MBBS examination from a medical institution recognized by National Medical Commission (NMC); [erstwhile Medical Council of India (MCI)] situated in the state of Maharashtra (with some exceptions as mentioned in the information brochure of the competent authority).
    • The candidate must have completed the compulsory one-year rotatory internship before the date as prescribed by the competent authority.
    • The candidate must have obtained minimum marks as prescribed by the competent authority at the NEET-PG
    • The candidate must be registered with State CET Cell, Mumbai through an online application on the website of State CET Cell.

    For Institutional quota seats

    • The candidate must be an Indian National or an Overseas Citizen of India (OCI)
    • The Age of the candidate must be as prescribed by the competent Authority
    • The candidate must be medically fit and must submit a certificate of medical fitness at the time of Document Verification as per proforma.
    • The candidate must have passed the MBBS or equivalent examination from a medical institution recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC); [erstwhile Medical Council of India (MCI)] situated in the state of Maharashtra (with some exceptions as mentioned in the information brochure of the competent authority).
