Admission to BDS programs is based on the NEET UG entrance exam.

Admissions into BDS programs will be done through the entrance exam NEET.

• A candidate must have completed the age of 17 years at the time of admission or should be completing it by the 31st December of the year of Admission for the 5 year degree course of B.D.S.
• As per Government of India guidelines, all candidates must have qualified the National Entrance Eligibility Test (NEET). The NEET UG 2020 eligibility criteria are the set of norms prescribed by the conducting authority, i.e., the National Testing Agency (NTA). In order to be eligible for NEET, candidates must qualify the 12th class examination with Chemistry, Biology, Physics, and English subjects. For General category candidates, it is mandatory to score 50% marks in 12th grade, whereas SC/ST/OBC category candidates must score 40% marks to become eligible for NEET 2020.

The students who have passed the 10+2 examination in the science stream and have studied Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English in the 12th stream may go for the BDS course.
It is a course that will have hands-on training in the field of dentistry for the duration of five years. The students will get the chance to interact with the patient and will gain practical knowledge of diseases.
The students have to score a minimum of 50% marks (40% in the case of the reserved category) in Plus Two and have to appear for an entrance examination conducted by the respective authorities.
