Selection of candidates is done on the basis of merit as determined by a Competitive Entrance Test conducted by University/NEET (PG).

Admissions to the MDS program are based on the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET) conducted by the National Board of Examinations. The admission process for these programs is facilitated through the counseling process conducted by the competent authority.

A candidate for admission to the Master in Dental Surgery course, must possess a recognised degree of Bachelor in Dental Surgery awarded by a university or institute in India and registered with the State Dental Council and has obtained provisional or permanent registration and has undergone compulsory rotatory internship of a year in an approved/recognised dental college. 

The candidate has passed a B.D.S. Degree from a University recognized by the Dental Council of India and the Government of India.
