Admission to the BDS course is based on qualification in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG) conducted by the National Testing Agency. Candidates must qualify NEET-UG in the relevant academic year. Admission is granted through centralized counseling conducted by the respective authorities (All India / State level).

The Admission to the BDS Course shall be made on the terms and conditions as prescribed by the Government of India/ Dental Council of India from time to time. All admissions for the academic session 2025-26 will be done through NEET.

• Candidates must have passed 10+2 (Higher Secondary Examination) or equivalent from a recognized board. They should have studied the following core subjects: Physics/Chemistry/Biology / Biotechnology/English (as a compulsory subject) 
• Minimum Qualifying Marks in 10+2
• Candidates must secure the following minimum aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry & Biology (PCB):
• General Category – Minimum 50% aggregate in PCB; SC / ST / OBC (as per government norms) – Minimum 40% aggregate in PCB; PwD (General Category) – Minimum 45% aggregate in PCB. Marks requirement may vary as per regulatory authority guidelines.
• The candidate must have completed 17 years of age on or before 31st December of the year of admission. There is generally no upper age limit as per current norms (subject to prevailing regulations). 

A person seeking admission in the BDS programme must fulfill the following eligibility criteria:-

• He/She should qualify for NEET.
• He/She will attain the age of 17 years or more on 31-12-2018. The age shall be determined as per entry in the Matriculation/Higher Secondary or its Equivalent Certificate.
• Must have passed Senior School Certificate Examination (10+2) of Board of School Education, Haryana or an examination recognized as equivalent thereto with at least 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology took together and must have passed in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English individually in qualifying examination.
