A-Category (Convener Quota)

70% of the seats are filled by the Convener, EAMCET under category A. Detailed notifications are issued by the State Council for Higher Education to attend certificate verification and exercise web options. Final allotments are announced through the portal to both candidates and the respective colleges. Candidates need to report to the college within the dates specified. All the students who are eligible for fee reimbursement have to submit relevant documents during web counseling. Reimbursement is subject to the government policies, eligibility criteria, and submission of relevant documents in time.

B-Category (Management Quota)

30% of the seats are filled by the college under category B as per the guidelines are given by the competent authority.

Passed 10+2 examination with Physics/ Mathematics / Chemistry/Computer Science/ Electronics/ Information Technology/ Biology/Informatics Practices/ Biotechnology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies/Entrepreneurship. Agriculture stream (for Agriculture Engineering) Obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together. ORPassed min. 3 years Diploma examination with at least 45% marks(40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) subject to vacancies in the First Year, in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted. (The Universities will offer suitable bridge courses such as Mathematics, Physics, Engineering drawing, etc., for the students coming from diverse backgrounds to prepare Level playing field and desired learning outcomes of the programme

Candidates should have passed or appeared in the 10+2 examination with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry as main subjects.

Alternatively, candidates who have completed a diploma in engineering conducted by the State Board of Technical Education and Training or equivalent are eligible.
