Admission entrance exams: CET, COMED-K, JEE.

The student should have cleared the entrance test conducted by the COMEDK and KCET (Karnataka Common Entrance Test).

Candidates who have completed the 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, along with one of the following: Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, Computer Science, or Electronics, are eligible to apply for undergraduate engineering programs.

A minimum aggregate of 45% marks in the 10+2 examination is required for candidates in the General Category, while a relaxation to 40% is provided for candidates belonging to SC/ST, Category-I, and OBC categories.

If the marks obtained in Chemistry are lower than required to meet the eligibility aggregate, the marks in Biotechnology, Biology, Computer Science, or Electronics may be considered in place of Chemistry solely for eligibility purposes. This substitution will not be considered for rank determination in engineering/technology courses.

The Candidate 12th Standard or equivalent examination, with English as one of the languages, and obtained a minimum of 45% of marks aggregate in Physics and Mathematics, along with Chemistry/Biotechnology / Biology / Electronics/ Computer Science. In the case of SC/ST and OBC (Cat-1, 2A, 2B, 3A, and 3B categories) students from Karnataka, the minimum marks for eligibility shall be 40%.
