The admission is based on NEET-UG

• Candidates who have passed the Higher Secondary examination of the Board of Higher Secondary Education, Kerala, or examinations recognized as equivalent thereto, with 50% marks in Biology separately, and 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology put together, are eligible and have also studied English as a compulsory subject at the Plus Two level. 
• Applicants should have completed 17 years of age as of the 31st of December of the same year. No relaxation in the minimum age will be allowed. There is no upper age limit.
• Nativity: Only Keralites are eligible for admission to the BDS course as per the statutory board.

Candidates who have passed the Higher Secondary examination of the Board of Higher Secondary Education of Kerala or equivalent thereto with at least 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology put together for the qualifying examination are eligible for admission. Relaxation of 10% marks (5 marks) will be granted to SC/ST & OBC candidates, subject to the production of community and income certificates obtained from Revenue Officers concerned. SC/ST candidates need only a pass in the examination.
