Admissions will be as per AP EAMCET entrance exam.

The eligibility criteria for admission into UG engineering program is as per the norms approved by Government of Andhra Pradesh from time to time. The sanctioned seats in each program in the college are classified into Category – A and Category – B at first-year level and Lateral Entry at the second-year level.

Category – A seats:

The seats will be filled as per the norms approved by the Government of Andhra Pradesh.

Category – B seats:

These seats will be filled by the College as per the norms approved by the Government of Andhra Pradesh.

Category – lateral entry seats:

Lateral entry candidates shall be admitted into the Third semester directly as per the norms approved by Government of Andhra Pradesh.

The percentages of Category – A, Category – B and Lateral Entry Seats are decided the time to time by the Government of Andhra Pradesh.

• Higher Secondary Examination of (10 + 2) Curriculum (Academic Stream) prescribed by the Government of Andhra Pradesh with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.
• Any examination of any other University or authority accepted by the JNTUK as equivalent thereto.
• Diploma in Engineering / Technology awarded by the State Board of Technical Education, Andhra Pradesh or any other authority accepted by the syndicate of the University as equivalent thereto.
• The candidates who possess the Diploma in Engineering / Technology awarded by the State Board of Technical Education and Training, are eligible for admission to the third semester of the B.E. / B. Tech, Degree Programs in affiliated colleges through lateral entry system.
• The eligibility criteria such as marks, number of attempts and physical fitness and the mode of admission shall be as prescribed by the University from time to time.

Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies. Obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together. OR Passed Diploma (in Engineering and Technology) examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) subject to vacancies in the First Year, in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted.
