    Admission Details

    The admission will be through AP EAMCET entrance exam.

    Undergraduate Programmes (UG):

    Admission into undergraduate engineering programmes (B.Tech) for all the branches of study is made as per the relevant Rules of the Govt. and norms/guidelines of the State Council of Higher Education:

    a. 70% of seats under Category-A (based on the rank obtained in state-level entrance examination, APEAMCET) will be filled by the Convener, APEAMCET.

    b. The management will fill 30% of seats under Category-B as per the relevant rules of the State Govt. and guidelines of the State Council of Higher Education issued from time to time.

    Admission to the second year of the 4-year B.Tech Degree (Lateral Entry) Programme in Engineering:

    Seats up to 10% of the sanctioned intake of each programme of the undergraduate course shall be filled by the Convenor, APECET, as lateral entry admission into the second year of the B.Tech programme based on the merit ranks obtained by the students in APECET (State Level Common Entrance Test).

    Spot Admission Procedure for B.Tech. 4-year Course: 

    Any seats left vacant in the convener quota will be filled by the institution based on the guidelines given by Convener APEAMCET. 

    Procedure:

    The College issues an advertisement after necessary approval. The spot admissions will be made according to the guidelines issued from time to time by the convener of APEAMCET.

    Eligibility Criteria

    B.Tech 1st year admission procedure :


      • The Candidates who joined under the convener quota and have reservations & satisfy the income criteria are eligible for fee reimbursement.
      • The Candidates who joined under the convener quota Open Category (OC) & satisfy the income criteria under EBC are eligible for fee reimbursement.
      • The candidates of physically challenged are eligible to get assistance from the respective Govt. Departments, If any special provisions for them will be provided on request as per the university/Govt.Rules.
    1. Allocation of Category-B Seats: The remaining 30% of seats are considered under Category-B. Candidates who have passed the qualifying (10+2 or its equivalent) Examination with 44.5 % and above for (OC) and 39.5% and above for (BC/SC/ST) are considered for the category- B seats.
      • Category B candidates need to approach the college directly, based on the order of merit seats & branches will be allocated for the students. Considerations in the Tuition fee will be provided by the college as per the governing body's decision.
    2. Allocation of Seats under spot admission: After filling of the seats under convener & category B, leftover seats will be filled under spot admission. The students with above percentages in 10+2 or equivalent directly approach the college for spot admission.
    3. For allocation of seats Local/Non-Local criteria as per the guidelines will be followed.

    B.Tech 2nd year admission procedure :

    • Direct B.Tech 2nd year admission is called lateral admission. For lateral admission Candidate must have passed a Diploma in Engineering/Technology or B.Sc. with Mathes, with 44.5 % and above for (OC),39.5% and above for (BC/SC/ST) and for the admission diploma holders need to write the E-CET examination. Based on the ECET rank seats will be allocated in the councelling.

    Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subjects/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies. Obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to the reserved category) in the above subjects taken together.
