Admission to B. Arch. (Regular) the programme shall be done under two criteria

• Criteria I: Admission to B.Arch. programmes are based on the merit list prepared with weight-age of 50% marks for aptitude tests (NATA / any other Aptitude test conducted by a competent authority of State or Central Government) and 50% marks in the qualifying examination (+2 or 10+3 Diploma)
• Criteria II: For NRI/PIO/Foreign Nationals category, 5% of the sanctioned
  intake is allotted
  Note: Any unfilled NRI seat will be treated as a lapsed seat and will be filled by Periyar
  Maniammai Institute of Science & Technology (PMIST) as per the norms are given in
  Criteria I.

The Admission will be based on the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA).

• Candidate should have passed an examination at the end of the 10+2 scheme of examination with 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics and also 50% marks in aggregate of the 10+2 level examination
• Diploma Examination (10+3) with Mathematics as a compulsory subject, with at least 50% marks in aggregate.
• In addition to the above, the candidate needs to qualify an Aptitude Test in
  Architecture conducted by the Council or by the competent authority.

• The candidate who has passed the Minimum Standards of Architectural Education Regulations, 2019.
• The candidate who has passed the No candidate shall be admitted to an architecture course unless he/she has passed an examination at the end of the 10+2 scheme of examination with at least 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics.
• The candidate who has passed the  at least 50% marks in the aggregate of the 10+2 level examination (OR)
• The candidate who has passed the 10+3 Diploma Examination with Mathematics as a compulsory subject, with at least 50% marks in aggregate
