The two year Pre-university examination or equivalent as approved by KLE Deemed University with Physics, Chemistry & Biology as principal subjects of study or Pre Degree course from an approved university (two years after ten years of schooling) with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as principal subjects of study or any equivalent examination  approved  by KLE Deemed University for the above purpose with Physics, Chemistry and Biology a principal subjects of study or Pre-university vocational course from an  approved Board with laboratory technology  as vocational subject.

Candidates seeking admission for Physiotherapy degree course should have passed Pre University (PU/ HSC (10+2) or equivalent examination from a recognised board with a minimum 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

Karnataka State students belonging to SC/ST category are the marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry and Biology together in qualifying examination should not be less than 40%.

Students from outside Karnataka State need to obtain an eligibility certificate from Shri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara University prior to seeking admission to the course.

Candidates who have studied abroad and have passed the equivalent qualification with English has one of the languages and 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology will be evaluated by Shri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara University for the eligibility of admission.
