    The selection of the candidates is done as per the guideline issued by DTE, Maharashtra State and strictly on the basis of merit. 

    The procedure is Based on the MHTCET  Exam.

    Eligibility Criteria

    For First Year B. Pharm.

    • Candidates should have passed the HSC (Std. XII) examination of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination with: Physics, Chemistry, Biology (PCB) and English or Physics, Chemistry, Maths (PCM) and English or Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Maths, and English. Should have secured minimum 50 % marks (45% for backward class candidates from Maharashtra) in the subjects Physics, Chemistry, Biology (PCB) or Physics, Chemistry, Maths (PCM) taken together and passed in the same sitting.

    For Direct Admission to Second Year B. Pharm.: 

    • The candidates should have passed HSC examination with Physics, Chemistry and Biology / Mathematics (or both) from Board of Higher Secondary Examination of Maharashtra state or equivalent and Diploma course in Pharmacy (as ER 91 Regulations of PCI), from an institution approved by PCI and conducted by the Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education or Diploma in Pharmacy recognized as equivalent to the Diploma awarded by the Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education in First class ( 60%) in one attempt. (Candidates who have not offered Mathematics at 12th Std. shall have to appear and pass in the subject Remedial Maths during the course.).

    • The candidate should be an Indian National
    • Passed HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the Mathematics or Biology and obtained at least 45% marks (at least 40% marks in case of candidates of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability belonging only to Maharashtra State) in the above subjects taken together
    • Should have appeared in all the subjects and should obtain non zero score in CET conducted by the Competent Authority
    • (B) All India Candidature Candidates :

    • The candidate should be an Indian National
    • Passed HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the Mathematics or Biology and obtained at least 45% marks (at least 40% marks in case of candidates of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability belonging only to Maharashtra State) in the above subjects taken together
    • Should obtain a non-zero positive score in NEET or the candidate should have appeared in all the subjects in CET and obtained a non-zero score in CET conducted by the Competent Authority? However, preference shall be given to the candidate obtaining non-zero positive scores in NEET over the candidates who obtained non-zero scores in CET.
    • Direct Second Year B. Pharm Admission

    • The candidate should be an Indian National
    • Passed Diploma course in Pharmacy with at least 45 % marks (at least 40 % marks in case of candidates of Backward class categories and persons with disability belonging to Maharashtra state only) from an AICTE or PCI or Central or State Government institution or its equivalent.
