    The Admission is based on the MHT-CET Exam.

    The Admission is based on the NEET and MHT-CET entrance Exam.

    Eligibility Criteria

    A) Eligibility criteria for admission to First Year Degree Course in Pharmacy:

    For: Maharashtra State Candidature Candidates and All India Candidature Candidates.

    1. The candidate should be an Indian National
    2. Passed HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the Mathematics or Biotechnology, or Biology and obtained at least 50 % of marks (at least 45% marks in case of candidates of backward class categories and persons with disability belonging only to Maharashtra state) in the above subjects taken together.
    3. Score in MHT-CET 2019. The candidate must appear for Paper II as well as in Paper I and/or Paper III.
      1. Paper I: Mathematics
      2. Paper II: Physics & Chemistry
      3. Paper III: Biology (Botany) & Biology (Zoology)

    For: NRI / OCI / PIO, Children of Indian workers in Gulf countries, Foreign Nationals.

    • The candidate should have passed the HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the Mathematics or Biotechnology, or Biology and obtained at least 50 % of marks in the above subjects taken together.
    • Any other criterion declared by the appropriate authority from time to time.

    B) Eligibility criteria for admission to the Direct Second Year Degree Course in Pharmacy:

    For: Maharashtra State Candidature Candidates and All India Candidature Candidates.

    • The candidate should be an Indian National
    • Passed diploma course in pharmacy with at least 45 % of marks (at least 40% marks in case of candidates of backward class categories and persons with disability belonging only to Maharashtra state).
    • Any other criterion declared by the appropriate authority from time to time.

    (1) Maharashtra State Candidature Candidates:

    • (i) The candidate should be a citizen of India;
    • (ii) The candidate should have passed 10+2 examination or its equivalent examination with English as one of the subjects and Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics or Biology as optional subjects individually: “Provided that, the students possessing 10+2 qualification from non-formal and non-class rooms based schooling such as National Institute of Open Schooling, open school systems of States etc. shall not be eligible for admission to B. Pharm Course”;

                                                       or

    • (iii)Any other qualification approved by the Pharmacy Council of India as equivalent to any of the above examinations; and
    • (iv)The candidate should have appeared in all the subjects and should obtain non-zero score in MHT-CET conducted by the Competent Authority.

    (2) All India Candidature Candidates.

    • (i) The candidate should be a citizen of India;
    • (ii) The candidate shall have passed 10+2 examination or its equivalent examination with English as one of the subjects and Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics or Biology as optional subjects individually: Provided that, the students possessing 10+2 qualification from non-formal and non-class rooms based schooling such as National Institute of Open Schooling, open school systems of States etc. shall not be eligible for admission to B. Pharm Course

                                                      or

    • (iii)Any other qualification approved by the Pharmacy Council of India as equivalent to any of the above examinations; and
    • (iv) The candidate should obtain non zero positive score in National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) or the candidate should have appeared in all the subjects in MHT-CET and should obtain non zero score in MHT-CET conducted by the Competent Authority; Provided that, preference shall be given to the candidate obtaining non zero positive score in National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) over the candidates who obtained non zero score in MHT-CET
