    Admission Details

    The Admission is based on the MHT-CET Entrance Exam.

    The selection of the candidates is done as per the guideline issued by DTE, Maharashtra State and strictly on the basis of merit. 

    Eligibility Criteria

    The Candidate Passed the HSC (Std. XII) examination of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination with subjects English, Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics &/or Biology and secured minimum 50% marks for Open Category while 45% marks for Reserved Category candidates belonging to Maharashtra state or its equivalent examination. Qualified in MHT-CET for Pharmacy Degree Course conducted by the Competent Authority of the Government of Maharashtra for the academic year. Maximum marks from amongst Mathematics and Biology will be considered in case the Candidate appears for the Mathematics as well as the Biology subjects of MHT-CET.

    • Candidates should have passed the HSC (Std. XII) examination of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination with: Physics, Chemistry, Biology (PCB) and English or Physics, Chemistry, Maths (PCM) and English or Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Maths, and English. Should have secured minimum 50 % marks (45% for backward class candidates from Maharashtra) in the subjects Physics, Chemistry, Biology (PCB) or Physics, Chemistry, Maths (PCM) taken together and passed in the same sitting.

    For Direct Admission to Second Year B. Pharm.: 

    • The candidates should have passed HSC examination with Physics, Chemistry and Biology / Mathematics (or both) from Board of Higher Secondary Examination of Maharashtra state or equivalent and Diploma course in Pharmacy (as ER 91 Regulations of PCI), from an institution approved by PCI and conducted by the Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education or Diploma in Pharmacy recognized as equivalent to the Diploma awarded by the Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education in First class ( 60%) in one attempt. (Candidates who have not offered Mathematics at 12th Std. shall have to appear and pass in the subject Remedial Maths during the course.).
