    Eligibility Criteria

    1. For Admission to First Year B. Pharm:
      • The candidate should be an Indian National.
      • Passed HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the Mathematics, Biotechnology, or Biology and obtained at least 50% marks (at least 45 % marks in case of candidates of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability belonging only to Maharashtra State) in the above subjects taken together;
      • Obtained Score in CET.
      • PIO admissions as per AICTE and State Govt norms (Intake -09 seats).
    2. Direct Second Year (Lateral Entry)
      • The Candidate should be an Indian National.
      • Passed Diploma Course in Pharmacy with at least 45 % marks (at least 40 % marks in case of candidates of Backward class categories and Persons with disability belonging to Maharashtra State only) from an All India Council for Technical Education or Pharmacy Council of India or Central or State Government approved Institution or its equivalent.
      • Any other criterion is declared by the appropriate authority from time to time.

    (1) Maharashtra State Candidature Candidates:

    (i) The candidate should be a citizen of India;

    (ii) The candidate should have passed 10+2 examination or its equivalent examination with English as one of the subjects and Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics or Biology as optional subjects individually:

    “Provided that, the students possessing 10+2 qualification from non-formal and non-class rooms based schooling such as National Institute of Open Schooling, open school systems of States etc. shall not be eligible for admission to B.Pharm Course”;

    OR

    (iii) Any other qualification approved by the Pharmacy Council of India as equivalent to any of the above examinations; and

    (iv) The candidate should have appeared in all the subjects and should obtain non zero score in MHT-CET 2024 conducted by the Competent Authority.

     (2) All India Candidature Candidates:

    (i) The candidate should be a citizen of India;

    (ii) The candidate should have passed 10+2 examination or its equivalent examination with English as one of the subjects and Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics or Biology as optional subjects individually:

    “Provided that, the students possessing 10+2 qualification from non-formal and non-class rooms based schooling such as National Institute of Open Schooling, open school systems of States etc. shall not be eligible for admission to B.Pharm Course”;

    OR

    (iii) Any other qualification approved by the Pharmacy Council of India as equivalent to any of the above examinations; and

    (iv) The candidate should obtain non zero positive score in National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) or the candidate should have appeared in all the subjects in MHT-CET 2024 and should obtain non zero score in MHT-CET 2024 conducted by the Competent Authority;

    Provided that, preference shall be given to the candidate obtaining non zero positive score in National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) over the candidates who obtained non zero score in MHT-CET 2024.

     (3) NRI / OCI / PIO, Children of Indian workers in the Gulf countries, Foreign National Candidature Candidates:

    (i) The candidate should have passed 10+2 examination or its equivalent examination conducted by the respective State or Central Government authorities recognized as equivalent to 10+2 examination with English as one of the subjects and Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics or Biology as optional subjects individually:

    Provided that, the students possessing 10+2 qualification from non-formal and non-class rooms based schooling such as National Institute of Open Schooling, open school systems of States etc. shall not be eligible for admission to B. Pharm Course; and

    (ii) Any other eligibility criteria and requirement declared from time to time by the appropriate authority as defined under the Act.

    B) Direct Second Year (Lateral Entry) Admission- for Maharashtra State Candidature Candidates and All India Candidature Candidates:-

    (i) The candidate should be a citizen of India;

    (ii) The candidate should have passed in D. Pharm. Course from an Institution approved by the Pharmacy Council of India under section 12 of the Pharmacy Act, 1948 (8 of 1948); and

    (iii) Any other eligibility criteria and requirement declared from time to time by the appropriate authority as defined under the Act.
