The selection of students for admission to different classes is made strictly on merit.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who passed the H.S. (10+2) Vocational Examination conducted by the West Bengal Board of Vocational Education and Training are eligible for admission to B.A. (Multidisciplinary)Course taking subjects under Humanities Discipline only.

A minimum of 50% marks in aggregate with 45% marks in the subject or relevant subjects at the previous qualifying examination in which that subject is included.

55% marks in the subject or related subjects at the previous qualifying examination.

50% marks in aggregate when the candidate takes up honors in the subject not included in his / her previous qualifying examination, provided all other clauses are satisfied.
Calcutta University has prescribed that "A candidate taking up honors must have obtained a minimum of 40% marks in aggregate or 40% marks in the subject at the previous qualifying examination."
