Admission is based on the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE).

The minimum pass in the examination of the 10+2 system of Senior Secondary Education or its equivalent, with English as one of the compulsory subjects. Those appearing in 10+2 or equivalent examination can appear in JEE on a provisional basis. Provisional admissions will stand canceled if proof of having passed the qualifying examination (10+2 or its equivalent) is not submitted at the time of counseling or at the time of admission. 

Minimum qualification for admission is a pass certificate in the final examination of the 10+2 system of Senior Secondary education or its equivalent with English as one of the compulsory subjects. Those appearing in 10+2 final or equivalent examination can also appear in JEE to be considered on a provisional basis.

Age Limit

Age limit is 22 years, relaxable up to 25 years for candidates belonging to the Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe as on July 01 of the year.
