• Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of their score in CAT / XAT / CMAT / MAT / ATMA (anyone), past academic record, relevant work experience and the performance in Group Discussion and Personal Interview to be organized by the Institute. The CAT / XAT / CMAT / MAT / ATMA score should not be more than one year old from the date of submission of application.
• The reservation policy of the Government of Jharkhand shall apply in admission and the benefit of the same shall be given to the candidates belonging to the State of Jharkhand only. The candidates of other states in the reserved category shall be treated as General category candidates.
• In all matters relating to admission to the programme, the decision of the Institute shall be final and binding on the applicants.
• Candidates will have to meet their own travel expenses for appearing in the GD & Interview session.

Admission will be conducted on the bases of entrance test, group discussion and personal interview. Weightage for the each criterion is as follows: Written Test (70%), Group Discussion (20%) and Interview (10%).

The minimum eligibility criteria for admission in MBA programme is graduation in any discipline with 50% marks in aggregate. Students in the final year of their graduation can also apply subject to the condition that they must produce the evidence of the required qualification on or before the prescribed scheduled date if selected. A candidate must have passed the Bachelor's Degree in any stream of minimum three years duration from a recognized university. The candidate must have clearly passed with an aggregate of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST candidates of Haryana only) at graduation level.
