i) A person shall be eligible to join the first year (Part I) of B.A.(General) If she has passed one of the following examinations with English as one of the subjects & has also obtained at least 33% marks in aggregate.

ii) Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (10+2 Standard of Board of School Education, Haryana).

Any other examination recognized by the Academic Council as equivalent to (ii) above, with English as one of the subjects and with the prescribed percentage of marks. A candidate for B.A. (General) Examination shall be required to take up two elective subjects in Part – I from the following elective subjects, and the same will continue in Part – II and Part-III of the course.

3-Year diploma course examination conducted by various state boards of Technical Education in India provide the candidate shall pass the subject of Hindi are of +2 level examination, or if not already passed at the supplementary level, is also eligible.
