i) A person shall be eligible to join the first year (Part I) of B.A.(General) If she has passed one of the following examinations with English as one of the subjects & has also obtained at least 33% marks in aggregate.

Any other examination recognized by the Academic Council as equivalent to (ii) above, with English as one of the subjects and with the prescribed percentage of marks.
